Technology Business Incubator @ BVRIT

BVRIT proudly announces that it has been approved as an Business Incubator by the Development Commissioner (MSME) Ministry of micro, small & medium enterprises, Government of India under the scheme “support for entrepreneurial and managerial development of SMEs through incubators” .The objective of incubator is to promote and support untapped creativity of individual innovators and to assist them to become technology based entrepreneurs.

Technology Business Incubator

Technology Business Incubator (TBI) is meant for initiating technology led and knowledge driven enterprises.TBI helps in the growth of technology based new enterprises.TBI also facilitate speedy commercialization of research outputs.

Following are the Objectives of the BI:

• Creation of technology based new enterprises.
• Facilitating transfer of technology.
• Fostering the entrepreneurial spirit.
• Speedy commercialization of R&D output.
• Consultancy to existing SMEs.

Services of Business Incubator includes:

• Business Planning and training.
• Training including short-term courses.
• Organizing management / technical assistance.
• Information dissemination on product ideas/technologies.
• Using facilities of the Host Institute (HI) at nominal charges.
• Work space for a limited period.
• Common facilities of BI such as communication, conference, computers.
• Technology shows/ technology clinics/ trade fairs.

Thrust Areas: BVRIT-TBI has a special focus in some thrust areas like Electronics &Electrical appliances, Nano materials/technology, Information technology, Assistive Technologies and Renewable Energy Technologies. We also welcome the business ideas in any other area of mutual interest.
